# Klas Manager

Klas Manager is school management software for Nigerian schools. It is available as a web app and PWA at https://klasmanager.com.

## Direct answers

- **Who is it for?** School owners, administrators, teachers, finance staff, boarding and health teams, security staff, parents and students.
- **What does it manage?** Students, guardians, staff, inventory, classes, subjects, attendance, results, fees, bills, receipts, boarding, health context, gate access, announcements, parent portal and examinations.
- **What does it cost?** School software and the school webfront are free, with no monthly or annual software renewal and no student-count licence. School fee-processing services carry disclosed collection and provider charges.
- **Does it accept online payments?** Connected payment-provider checkout supports online channels including card, bank transfer and USSD where enabled and supported. Klas also records cash, transfer and POS counter collections. Channel availability and charges depend on the school and provider configuration.
- **Does each school get a website?** The free editable school webfront uses a klasng.com subdomain, with branding, previews and publishing for articles, journals, yearbooks and news. klas.ng is an unrelated business, not a Klas Manager domain.
- **Has database recovery been tested?** On 5 October 2026 a current off-server Cloudflare R2 backup was restored into an isolated resource-limited database. All 85 table counts and 35 migrations matched the read-only live baseline. Production was untouched. This is database recovery evidence, not a full application failover guarantee.
- **How does manual fee collection work?** An authorised accountant opens Fees, selects a student, chooses the fee or bill, enters the amount and method, then saves a receipt and audit record.
- **What can parents see?** Their wards, fee structures, balances, bills, discounts, receipts, announcements, results and progress.
- **What is the learning product?** The Klas Exam Engine is a curriculum-linked question-bank and assessment workflow for school-built practice and exams.
